Guess some of you guys already know who came last friday. Okay, for those whol are still in the dark, let me bring you to the light.
6 Mediacorp Artistes came, name:
Felicia Chin
Michelle Chia
Michelle Chong
Yvonne Lim
Vivian Lai
Patricia Mok
Yea. Many students in my school are having similar expressions as some of you might now be experiencing.
Why did the school sent thsese artistes to our school? And they were all FEMALE.
Haha. Maybe the school is scared that some of us might become gay after the recent issues of Section 377A, where everyone is debating over. So the school decided to call these artistes over to let us know what is the opposite sex, since our school may or may not lack some of it.
However it could not be true as the school could not have been so bo liao to do such a stupid thing. But Who Knows???!! buahahahahah.
Anw, from my reliable sources, i have gathered that the purpose of their visit is something to do with the Star Awards 2007. Some publication activity or some interview that is to be filmed on the day of the Awards.
As the artistes came, the upper secondary were having lessons and the lower secondary were the "welcoming party". After which, there was an hour long recess. The artistes arrived after many false alarms and people were screaming their lungs out. They then proceeded to the plaza and then to the auditorium for photo taking and interview sessions.
Many students went down to see them and take pictures of them, going gaga over the stars. However, throughout the entire time they were in the school, i did not once went down to take a glimpse of them. Many of you would ask why i miss this golden opportunity. Reasons are as followed.
I dont find it childish for once to take pictures with idols or celebs and artistes. But renting a hotel room next to them may be overboard. Anw, yea, I do not find it childish.
I do not want to see the ugly side of people. Because when such events are organized, one would see the ugly side of people. The side where people will push to see the artistes. The side where people will scold, curse and swear because they have not taken any pictures of the artistes. The side where people may use underhand means just to catch a glimpse of the artistes. The side that many, including myself do not want to see.
Also, when such events are organized, one would find what i call Self Assigned Jobs. These jobs are small errands that a person, in this case, a student would assign himself to do. Like bringing the artistes to the toilet or to entertain or even to but a drink for them. When asked by others on why he is doing this, he would say that a teacher of high authority, like the discipline master or the principle, had assigned him the job.
For example. Tom assigned himself the job of bringing the artistes to the toilet if they wanted to. Then the other students, maybe out of curiosity or jealousy would ask why he was supposed to do it, and not the others. Tom would then explain that the Vice -Principal had told him to do so. Hence the other students would not be able to question the instruction given by a person of higher authority.
Many conflicts would also surface from such events. For example, one might have insider information that the artistes may be coming and because of jealousy or other factors, he did not share it with his friends. After a public announcement, and by coincidental, friends might wonder why he did not tell them firsthand and kept it from them. Then arguments will be un- preventable, and friendship ruined.
One incident i had heard was that Patricia Mok was being ostracized because she is not as pretty as the others who came. Unlike Felicia Chin and Michelle Chia who were the hot favorites especially the former. But i admire Patricia Mok the most for her courage to accept who she is and also make a joke out of it. People would take pictures and get autographs from the others because of their outer beauty. But i beg to differ. Simply because Patricia Mok has talents the other do not. She is a comedian! She dares to do things the other do not.
All in all, the end of the entire event that the artistes came had made many people happy, from the pictures they had taken and that they had had seen the artistes, or made people sad, because they had not taken any pictures.
Oh ya. Not to forget, I have heard stories that a few of the students got kissed by the artistes. And also a rumor that a student got Felicia Chin's number and also that a student got fed by Felicia Chin with chocolate.

Hey Hey You You. lets not talk about EOY. just say, hmmm. I am okay with it. Hope i dont retain.. Been looking for holiday jobs and surfing net for stuff recently. been lying on the couch watching tv and playing SSX 3 on my xbox this couple of days. Lets just say. I am living a life of a couch potaattooo... Great fun. Idling all day, with no worries. But need to get some sun man. Gotta get my tan back and my fitness if i had any... buahahahaha.. yea.
Powerballs are tiring. Fun but tiring.
Climbing is fun, real fun. Tiring but fun.
Parkour is not getting anywhere.
Drums are okay.
Music is still nice.
Weather is going crazy.
Gals are getting hotter. That i cant deny, i think.
